It's Dragon Boat Season! Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 4, 2008.

Rebuilding Together Philadelphia will have two boats again this year. We need your commitment now, so we can fill our first boat, which will be led by team captain Joan Burnes. Volunteers from Keystone Mercy Health Plan will be filling our second boat - led by team captain Jeanie Heffernan. We'll be celebrating on festival day with our friends from Gung Ho, Beckie's Beauties and a new team named Red Oar White, led by an RTP supporter. Our practices have already been scheduled, and we'll plan a team kick-off meeting as well.

Practices dates:
Tuesday, July 29, 6 pm and RTP II at 7 pm.
Tuesday, August 26, RTP II at 6 pm and RTP I 7 pm.
Saturday, September 20, RTP I at 9 am and RTP II at 10 am.

Our registration fee remains $200 per paddler. We'll be asking participants to raise additional money from friends and family again. No pressure, BUT, there will be prizes for the top fundraisers. Last year, RTP paddlers raised more than $15,000!

Waiver forms will be signed electronically this year on the festival's new and improved website, so once you confirm your participation I'll point you to the website.
