| Carrie Rathmann, RTP's new executive director, starts officially December 15, but she already has participated in a homeowner repair project with the ConocoPhillips team. We are equally eager to get her engaged and look forward to her leadership – loads of projects in front of us. We know that she will be reaching out to people on many different levels. Please welcome her to the fold. Learn more about her background. |
Carrie has office space for the short term, but we are looking for office space to meet RTP's longer-term needs. Ideally, it would be in West Philadelphia, fit two people, and have access to a small conference room. Of course, we're looking for free or "dirt cheap" space so we can continue to maximize the resources that go into the repair projects. Please let Carrie know if you have any leads by contacting her at carrie@rebuildingphilly.org. |
The need to spread the word about RTP has always been important, but it is "mission critical" during these challenging economic times. We know that introducing people to our way of preserving affordable homeownership – connecting volunteers to homeowners in need – generates much needed human and financial resources. Let us know if you want to be an ambassador for RTP and we'll put you to work on a few specific tasks. Contact Jennifer Shropshire at president@rebuildingphilly.org. |
