SHOPPING FOR RTP MAKING AN IMPACT ON GERMANTOWN REWARDING GOOD DEEDS
On Wednesday, June 18, RTP will receive 5% of the net sales at Whole Foods Market at 20th and Callowhill Streets (Art Museum area). This also is great exposure for RTP; an opportunity to talk about our efforts to preserve affordable homeownership and recruit new volunteers and supporters. So, don't do your shopping on any other day of that week than WEDNESDAY, JUNE 18. Shop "early and often." Visit the RTP table at Whole Foods. Spread the word to your friends and colleagues. More than 100 HSBC employees will volunteer with RTP on June 11 to spruce up two community-based facilities in Germantown. Nationwide, working with 100 other Rebuilding Together affiliates, volunteers from HSBC – North America's HFC and Beneficial branches as well as HSBC Credit Centers will contribute 30,000 volunteer hours during a two-week effort. Learn more about the Financial Services Roundtable's Community Service 2008 initiative and the impact locally. Every RTP volunteer is valued and necessary to carrying out the mission of helping homeowners in need. At the same time, it is important to recognize those who have stood out among the more than 1,500 men and women who volunteered this year by making contributions above and beyond the call of duty. Check out the list of award recipients for 2008. Note the variety of skills and talents brought by this dedicated group. Everyone and anyone can contribute!
