PAY IT FORWARD SYNCHRONICITY RUN TO REBUILD
Jessica Moore enjoyed her LEADERSHIP Philadelphia team's first RTP experience (group pictured above). “We chose RTP as our Pay it Forward project because we all appreciate public green space and improving the environment around us. Each of us could bring something to a RTP project, and there was an existing structure that we could plug into easily.” Why make RTP your nonprofit of choice among the hundreds of options? Just ask Carrie Rathmann, she'll tell you. It's been called the longest 2½ minutes in history–and that was just one heat! One would think that RTP volunteers' experience making critical home repairs would have given people the endurance to paddle strong for 500 meters. Well, we've discovered that the secret to dragon boating is being in sync. Fortunately, RTPers know how to work as a team. Would you like to paddle with Team RTP? Learn how you can get your butt on the boat. Mark September 12 on your calendar and get training! RTP is holding its first "Run to Rebuild" – a 5K Run/Walk to raise funds for our 1000th house – we expect to reach this milestone between now and next spring. Run to Rebuild will be in Fairmount Park on Forbidden Drive. Let us know if you're interested in running/walking or promoting this fun event to your family and friends, and we'll send details when they are available.
