| 1,000 volunteers are poised to make RTP real in the lives of low-income homeowners this spring. Work has begun on Block Builds in West Shore, Lower Kensington and Norristown, with an estimated total projects of 75 either completed or under way. Your gift to RTP would be put to work immediately, outfitting the volunteers for fixing broken windows, repairing and painting walls, installing smoke alarms, and so much more. Thanks to a national partnership between Sears Holdings Corporation and Rebuilding Together, three local veterans will benefit. Through RTP, Sears and Kmart volunteers will make essential home repairs for two homeowners this spring; one in North Philadelphia and one in Glenside. There is a buzz in West Philly as Wharton students lead service to the West Shore community. RTP allows Penn students to get out into the community, socialize with each other, and build relationships with homeowners.
