This is it! While RTP works to help homeowners in need and revitalize low-income communities throughout the year, spring is a fantastic time to feel the RTP-love by volunteering at a Block Build. Orleans Technical Institute was involved in RTP's early days, and has returned to the fold! This fall, students and instructors helped a homeowner whose house had been devastated by a fire. Family, friends, and neighbors had been working hard, but needed more skilled hands. Orleans Tech agreed to help out, and subsequently urged RTP to schedule more field work days. They are volunteering this spring, and we hope this will turn into an ongoing partnership. |
