MULTIGENERATIONAL COMMUNITIES LEADERSHIP & SERVICE WELCOME PATRICK!
A new partnership between RTP and AARP will have a significant impact on the West Shore community of West Philadelphia. To promote livable, multigenerational communities, our joint volunteer efforts will help older adults and others through a year-long series of repair projects, home modifications, and other neighborhood revitalization activities. See more information on how AARP is celebrating its 50th anniversary through community service. For RTP, Back-to-School means that half of the 1,000-member volunteer corps has returned. Wharton Graduate students are taking a leadership role in West Philadelphia Operations. University of Pennsylvania undergraduates are raising funds and building awareness. Graduate and doctoral students across Penn are joining forces. Find out about the many ways that students can support RTP. RTP has hired Patrick Cobbs as the first Volunteer Development Associate. He will be recruiting and supporting skilled and general volunteers, House Management Teams (HMTs), and volunteer groups. Expect to hear from him as projects are planned and to see him on the street on work days. Find out more about Patrick as well as the other members of RTP's staff.
