Carrie Rathmann, Executive Director. Carrie joined RTP as Executive Director in December 2008. Prior to RTP she was the Program Director for PHILADELPHIA READS where she created, facilitated and evaluated programming in addition to organizational capacity building and development. Before that, she taught for many years in the Baltimore City Public Schools and Kennedy Krieger Institute. She also started and ran her own business in Baltimore. Jen Wootten, Administrator and Program Coordinator. Jen has been behind the scenes of RTP since 1994. As Administrator, Jen provides support to the Executive Director, Board of Directors, and all committees of RTP. As Program Coordinator, Jen works on expanding the volunteer network for rebuilding projects and committees. Her skills have grown with the organization and the world of technology, starting with database management and evolving into website management, e-mail broadcasting and online social networking. Prior to working for RTP, Jen was the general manager of a small financial printing company. She is a 1991 graduate of Drexel University. Jim Coburn, Operations Coordinator. Jim joined RTP as our part-time Operations Manager in April 2010, and has become our full-time Operations Coordinator since September 2011. In his role as Operations Coordinator, he has specific project management responsibilities including coordination with volunteers, homeowners and partners. You'll often see him on Rebuilding Days. Mike Verla, AmeriCorps Outreach Coordinator. Mike joined RTP in August 2011 through CapacityCorps, an AmeriCorps position for Rebuilding Together affiliates. He is focusing on creating infrastructure that will facilitate the process of serving homeowners, while also increasing the number of applicants on file. Mike grew up in Massachusetts and attended the University of Vermont. While at UVM, Mike took part in service trips to New Orleans, Milwaukee, and various towns in Vermont, culminating in a Bachelor of Science degree in Community and International Development.
