Why Do We Focus on Healthy Housing?

According to the EPA, Americans spend up to 90% of their time indoors, especially in urban areas where there are less safe outdoor spaces. Children are at great risk from asthma or other medical issues if the home they live in is not safe and healthy.  By focusing on the goal of a healthy home, we are able to create scopes of work to have the most impact on residents' daily lives, long-term health and their ability to remain in their home.  Our home evaluation process focuses on repairs that have an immediate and long-term positive impact on the health and safety of residents.
