Rebuilding Together Philadelphia is proud to participate in #GivingTuesday, December 3rd.
Behind every front door is a neighbor with a story. Rebuilding Together Philadelphia has the special privilege of coming together with our neighbors— joining them at home and participating in their stories— to help them remain in our communities.
Clara Parker has owned her home on Amber Street for 30 years. Ms. Parker’s breathing concerns and mobility issues limited her ability to maneuver her home safely. New home repairs — old carpet removal, vinyl plank flooring installation and occupational therapy accommodations — made it safer, healthier and easier for her to get around her home.
Linda Peay-Brown has owned her home in Haddington for ten years. Ms. Peay-Brown, who suffers from congestive heart failure and diabetes, and her grandson can now live and sleep in more comfort since so many of the breathing triggers were removed by [Re]Builders.
Eduardo Gonzalez has lived in his Rush Street home for 17 years. Health and mobility challenges made it difficult For Mr. Gonzalez to keep up on home maintenance. RTP’s repairs and occupational therapy modifications have made his home more accessible and safer.
This holiday season, we ask you to support your neighbors by making a gift to RTP. You will be opening the door to safe and healthy homes for more Philadelphians.
