Brandon Alcorn, Director of Operations

Brandon joined in RTP in September 2015. With a background in non-profit management and data science, Brandon is passionate about blending best practices from the non-profit, private, and public sectors to measurably improve the quality and equity of life in neighborhoods across Philadelphia. Prior to joining RTP, Brandon worked as a Project Manager for Penn Global at the University of Pennsylvania and as a Senior Modeler at Lustick Consulting. Throughout his life, he has participated in, organized, and lead volunteer construction trips in the United States and abroad. KT Engle, Junior Carpenter

KT joined RTP in November 2019 as the Junior Carpenter. Originally from Southern Appalachia, they relocated to Philadelphia for a change of pace. Prior to joining RTP, KT worked as a general contractor for over five years and have held various positions such as Assistant Carpenter, Lead Carpenter and Foreman at general contracting companies. KT is excited to connect with Philadelphia residents and help build local communities.

Tony Gonzalez, Program Manager

Tony joined RTP in February 2018. With a background in healthcare administration and construction management, Tony brings a variety of experiences to the RTP staff. Prior to joining RTP, Tony worked as a Community Programs Coordinator for Esperanza Health Center where he administered lay health education and a youth fitness programs for the surrounding community. Tony received an MDiv in Urban Ministry Leadership from Biblical Theological Seminary in June 2018. You can reach Tony at 267-223-7910.

Ariana Peña, AmeriCorps Program Coordinator

Ariana Peña joined RTP in August 2019 as the AmeriCorps Program Coordinator. Prior to joining RTP, Ariana worked as a Marketing Coordinator for a mortgage company based in Los Angeles, CA, which helped to shape her passion for building safe and healthy homes and communities. Kevin Phillips, Construction Supervisor

Kevin Phillips joined RTP in February 2016 as our first full-time construction staff member! With a diploma in Building Maintenance from Orleans Technical School, Kevin brings a wide range of construction and trade skills to the RTP staff. Prior to joining RTP, Kevin worked as an independent contractor alongside periods of work for Maxx Robinson Construction, B&H Environmental Services, and All-star Asphalt. As part of the RTP staff, Kevin is excited to spend much of his time in the communities we serve, carrying out prep work before our block builds and punch list work following the builds. In addition to helping us serve more homeowners, Kevin’s work as Construction Coordinator will increase the impact we are able to have in each home. You can reach Kevin at 215-965-0777.

Stefanie F. Seldin, President & CEO

Stefanie joined RTP as Executive Director in November 2013. Before coming to RTP, Stefanie was the managing attorney for Philadelphia VIP, an agency that recruits volunteer attorneys to assist low-income residents facing civil legal problems threatening their basic human needs. Shelter is first on that list of needs, and housing issues have been Stefanie’s focus for the past 10 years. Stefanie aims to put the housing difficulties faced by low-income families in the hearts and minds of thousands of volunteers. Stefanie has a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and a JD from Georgetown University Law School. Stefanie can be reached at 215-966-1134.

Jade Taylor, External Relations Coordinator

Jade joined RTP in September 2018 as the External Relations Coordinator. Her primary responsibilities include coordinating volunteers for the Block Builds; social media and other communications; our Volunteer Appreciation Party; and Run to Rebuild. Prior to joining RTP, Jade worked at a law firm and volunteered as a Social Media Ambassador with Women Organized Against Rape. Jade has a BA in Strategic Communications from Temple University. Matt Treat, Program & Impact Manager

Matt joined RTP in August 2016 through the Rebuilding Together AmeriCorps program. He is coordinating the community outreach and logistical elements of homeowner rebuilding projects. Prior to joining RTP, Matt worked at The Trust for Public Land’s Center for City Park Excellence in Washington, D.C. where he researched and wrote about various park issues. Matt has a BA in Political Science and Geography and Urban Studies from Temple University and a Master’s in City and Regional Planning from Pratt Institute’s School of Architecture. Quinton Watts, Carpenter

Quinton joined RTP in November 2018 as Carpenter. He brings over a decade of carpentry and trade skills to the team. Working as a skilled leader on several Block Builds has made him a familiar face to our staff and volunteers. Prior to joining RTP, Quinton worked as Lead Carpenter with A & Beyond Services, a long-time RTP contracting company. Esther Wiesner, Development Director

Esther joined RTP in March 2018. She brings to the organization nearly 20 years of development experience, the last ten of which was in the capacity of consultant with The Lapin Group and EHL Consulting. Esther has provided fundraising counsel to a diverse portfolio of prominent nonprofits both in the US and abroad and has a background working in community revitalization organizations (including University City District, Project H.O.M.E., Reinvestment Fund, and the former Philadelphia Empowerment Zone).  You can reach Esther at 215-437-9555.

Alexa Wight, Project and Development Coordinator

Alexa joined RTP in March 2019. With a background in urbanism, Alexa is passionate about creating more livable and safe conditions for everyone. Prior to joining RTP, Alexa worked with ACHIEVEability in Philadelphia and Burlington Parks, Recreation, and Waterfront in Vermont.
