How we can help

We are a local non-profit organization providing free home repairs for income-eligible homeowners and tenants in select neighborhoods of Philadelphia, with a focus on health, safety and energy efficiency. Repairs are performed by licensed contractors and are covered by a minimum one-year warranty.

How can I sign up?

    1. First, check our service map to see if you live in a neighborhood where we work.

    2. Then, check if you meet the eligibility requirements. Homes must:

      • be owner-occupied

      • be in need of health & safety repairs

    3. Additionally, households must meet income limits.

    1. If you fall within our service area and meet eligibility requirements, give us a call at 215-965-0777 to be added to the waitlist*.

*Note: Wait times range from one year to several years depending on the neighborhood. Being on the waitlist is not a guarantee of repairs.

    1. If you are selected, RTP or our Community Partner will contact you to fill out an application for repairs.

    2. Next, one of our program managers will contact you to set up an inspection to assess the health and safety of your home

Our team will prepare a Work To Perform agreement detailing the repairs that will be provided.

    1. RTP staff and contractors will begin working on your home.

    2. Once all repairs are completed, RTP staff will conduct a final inspection and provide final paperwork including a closeout packet with home maintenance tips and contact information for all contractors should an issue arise within the warranty period.

This home is my wealth and to keep it safe and to maintain it so that I can pass it onto my daughter is a big deal.
