Celebrating Our Volunteers: The Heart of RTP
The crew from LFDPR, Neil Dwyer, and Team Radian pose for the camera.
Last month, we gathered with our incredible volunteers for a night full of laughter, good food, and heartfelt appreciation. Our annual Volunteer Appreciation Party is one of our favorite traditions—a chance to celebrate the people who make our work possible. Huge shoutout to @CoupleOfMagicians for making the evening extra special!
From repairing roofs and rebuilding porches to painting, planting, and sharing smiles with neighbors, our volunteers show up with skill, compassion, and dedication year after year. Their impact goes far beyond the blocks we build together—it ripples through entire communities.
Our Volunteer of the Year, Neil Dwyer, gave an inspiring acceptance speech and really hit the nail on the head when he said:
“RTP is a tool for community. RTP is not a tool to fix community or to change community, but it’s a tool to enrich, support, and strengthen community.”
We’re endlessly grateful to every person who chooses to spend their time and energy helping their fellow
Philadelphians stay safe, healthy, and proud in their homes.
Here’s to the truest, bluest volunteers around—thank you for making our mission stronger!
